I had an awesome time last night, celebrating the Beaujolais Nouveau. For the uninitiated, it is a celebration of the end of the wine-making season. Part marketing, part excuse to party, French restaurants who host this celebration pass out free glasses and bottles of wine once the clock strikes midnight.

I headed to Bistro du Coin, one of the better spots in DC to cut loose and enjoy the festivities. I went with Carrie and we ended up bumping into my buddy Brian C. (kickball captain) who, being an executive chef at a DC French restaurant, was on the guest list and happily escorted us out of the long line and into the restaurant.

In between consuming free wine and dancing with my girlfriend, I managed to send photo text messages to a bunch of people (cough, Will, cough) who had bailed on the night out. For shame!
