Some SNG success

Over the last 8 days, I’ve played in 6 multi-table (45 player) SNG’s on FullTilt. I’ve placed 1st place in 2 of them, and didn’t cash in the rest. Now, before you think I’m manipulating the dates that I’m examining, the first 45-player tourney I ever played (7/15/06), I won. Then, I won again today.

I find this curious, not because I think I’m good at tournaments, but because I know I’m bad. My record in single-table SNG’s (dating back to March) is abysmal. 13 cashes out of 69 tourneys for a net loss of $92.50 (I only play $5 or $10 SNG’s).

So, what does this mean? That my patience (or tight playing) helps in longer tourneys but hurts in shorter ones? Or maybe I just got lucky a couple of times, and none of this mean anything?
